LIONS HOST ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST

LIONS HOST ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST

ONEIDA-The Oneida-Sherrill Lions Club’s annual pancake breakfast returns on Sunday, Nov. 5, offering not only a meal cooked and served by the Lions and Leo Club members themselves, but also the chance to help out a great cause at the same time.

The menu includes pancakes, locally-made real maple syrup, sausage, applesauce, juice, coffee and tea. For dessert, guests are invited to visit their bake sale. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lions’ projects in improving the lives of sight and hearing challenged persons both locally and all over the world, and there will be a 50/50 raffle to further benefit the outreach.

The breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Owl’s Nest at 130 Vanderbilt Ave. in Oneida, but guests should use their Oneida Street entrance. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for kids under 12 and senior citizens, and available from any chapter member or at the door.
